Dr. Purnendu Chatterjee, Founder and Chairman of The Chatterjee Group, visited the MCPI Plant at Haldia yesterday, the 2nd of November 2023.

The day started with a tree plantation ceremony at the Green Belt by the Chairman. This was followed by a presentation on business by the Management Team and Heads of Departments regarding the overall performance and plans for growth of the company post-takeover by TCG in November 2016.
After the presentation, Chairman addressed the gathering of employees. Subsequently, Chairman in the Q&A session responded to several questions on future of PTA and Manmade Fibre industry, the recent trends in technology, the future of women in managerial roles, sustainability, and future plans of TCG Group.
